Last-minute Government funding cut puts Women’s Support Motueka’s family violence services at risk
For over 30 years, Women’s Support Motueka (WSM) has provided essential counselling and support services to wāhine/women in the Motueka community affected by family violence and abuse. In the last four years alone, WSM has provided counselling to over 250 wāhine.
Elevate – Women’s Adventure Therapy Workshop
Women’s Support Motueka teamed up with Canyoning Aotearoa to run an Adventure Therapy Workshop for Women in April 2024. We had previously completed three pilot days as a trial in 2023.
Understanding Trauma and Dealing with Discloures Workshops
Last year we ran our first full ‘Dealing with Disclosures’ workshop programme, which consisted of six hours of education over three nights. A disclosure is when someone tells you they have been harmed.
